Either he’s very tall or I’m extremely short?! But he’s way taller than me. He has blue eyes and is a great storyteller and i admire his talent for drawing. If any animals comes in contact with him, they’ll be good friends. He has more energy than any other person I’ve ever met – If it’s windy, he’s windsurfing – When ever it’s possible he’ll be at the sea, catching some long rides – More importantly, he loves to ride his BMX and it’s his birthday today!!! It’s only till i met him that i discovered the creative, fun and thrilling world of BMX – They like to travel and explore…..So today, we’re  away on a weekend trip in Germany to celebrate his big day under the sun! Sunny kisses! Hope you have an awesome weekend! Love, Susan

Zeeland {meaning sea-land) in south of Holland on a very freezing sunday afternoon, before it stared to snow! The landscape was beautiful and peaceful. It was exceptionally cold and icy that you could skate over the sand…something too look forward, ice-sakting over the canals!

I was inspired by Kristinas blog comment “…bye bye summer see you next summer” and that particular stone lamp sitting on her desk (see below) i want it!…at the same time i’ve come across Geninnes-art-blog where she hand paints stones and makes them look so lovely…coincidentally, while in my summer holidays in France, i brought back a couple of stones from the beach. i didn’t know what i was going to need them for but now i think i might attempt to paint them! The candles are so cool, i wished i had bought the stone candles while i was in Oz early this year. it took me a while to find them on-line, hopefully i can find them in  Europe…anyway, next time you might consider holding on to the next stone you stumble over…

Hands down one of the most awe-inspiring short surf film I’ve seen! You don’t need to be a surfer to appreciate this film. It’s for everyone, anyone who loves the sea, loves mother nature. The cinematography is breath-taking, it’s like poetry in motion…

When I think of November, I think of spring, Jacaranda Tree and celebrating my Birthday! Around this time of the year the stunning Jacaranda Tree begins to blossom…and by the end of the season its spread over the grass, streets looking like a purple carpert….but it’s not like that here – no tropical trees like the Jacaranda…orange yellow Autumn Trees is what i see instead…it’s a windy, colder birthday than i hoped…but a very exciting and very cultural night ahead of me!

Looking for inspiration on where to go to Europe? Why not check out the stunning Outdoor Photo Exhibition of the Wild Wonders of Europe; 100 life-size nature photographs taken by 69 of Europe’s finest photographer. I was there the other night for the second time in one week. I recommend the evening is the best time of the day to go – it’s very peaceful and hardly no-one around. The photos are so enormous that they almost feel like they are going to come to life. Times like that would help to be taller and get a better perspective … More importantly, it reminded me that Europe has more to offer besides historical (concrete) cities. I was surprised to see such impressive beautiful photos of animals and nature. Places like Croatia and Spain …and I thought I had seen plenty of Spain already!.

I hope you get the chance to see the Outdoor Exhibition since it will be in tour throughout Europe: In The Hague, The Netherlands till August 30…:Wild Wonders of Europe

If I was an animal in my past life, I must have been a Sea Turtle … I am slow on the land but fast and strong under water …ha ha haaa, I just love turtles!
