Paris

There’s something so intriguing about black and white photos. I cherish my parent’s black and white old photo albums  and love looking at them…:There’s is also something about my mum, her beauty, energy and determination that I love about her.

It’s my mums BIRTHDAY TODAY and although I didn’t get the chance to join her (she lives in Australia) on her daily morning walk, followed by a swim in the ocean pool…and eat gooood food. She’s always in my happy thoughts and I feel bless to have her as my mum. She’s young at heart, full of energy with a contagious laugh and she can talk you into achieving anything in the world – if you set your mind to it and work hard!

My mum was born in a small country town in Guatemala. After a few years of working as a hairdresser she met my dad…: for their honeymoon they traveled for almost 2 years around the world!!!. My dad took these photos  in the late 1960’s in Paris and Luxembourg…: I’ve always aspired to travel around the world and see just as much or even more than my parents. I’ve seen quite a bit already but I still yet have a long way to catch up to mum and dad.

From my Paris photo selection taken last week of people, strangers and friends on a lazy sunday in Paris. After saying goodbye to my little family (sniff, sniff) who had to fly back to Sydney … I was glad to see my friend Natalie once more, who saved me from feeling sad and homesick … in no time was I again very lively among french people all enjoying these summer day … see if you can spot me with Natalie

Back from busy beautiful Paris. Its been a while since i taken sometime to write and share photos with you. I thought I’ll stay away from the typical iconic shots, but its hard not to guess this is Paris…Hehe. I was there for my 3rd time to meet my family from Sydney. So it was a different kind of visit to Paris…did lot of walking, eating, talking (its been 5 months since I’ve been hanging out with my family) so of course it was really good to be there…. Also I had the chance to meet up with my lovely friend Natalie who lives in Paris. So I’m happy to say I got to experience more of the “french” culture, the atmosphere. It’s an overwhelming city Paris, to say the least. It’s very busy, lot of tourist around – specially at summer time. There is soooo much to do and see, so no doubt I’ll be going back there soon.
